Trekking
Seasons
The
best time to trek is February to Mid June (the spring season) and September to
November (Autumn season). Treks to lower altitude destinations are also organized
during winter months. In fact winter is often preferred because of lesser tourist
crowd in the common trek routes. During the monsoon months of July and August
treks in the hills are normally not organized since heavy rain and accompanying
landslides are not uncommon in the region leading to road closer and delay for
trekkers, visibility during these months are also quite poor.
